Who are you?

Does that seem like a silly question to you?

I hosted an internet talk show last fall called The Psychic Café which aired on the 7th wave network. My hope for the series was to introduce everyone to the metaphysical world and prove that it is not meant for a selected few rather it is available to each and every one of us anytime we tap into it. I chose different topics every week such as meditation, chakras, spirit guides, dreams, crystals, intuition, past lives, and so on. I wanted everyone to realize that tapping into their innate knowing was easy and readily available.

The reason I described this talk show to you is that it was during my “intuition” show that I had this epiphany of realizing who I am. I was talking about intuition and how allowing it to guide you will make your life so much more fulfilled and ultimately easier. Intuitive messages are received in your body. Therefore, before you can tune into your intuition your body has to be whole which means that you have to understand who you are, what you’re about, what you love, what you don’t and so on.

I was saying as an example let’s take who I am; yes I’m a mother, a wife, a sister, daughter and friend but that's not all I am. I am also a person who loves the outdoors, I love going out to dinner with my husband and sharing a bottle of wine with him, I love having people over to our house, I love reading, I love teaching, I love doing readings, I absolutely love hanging out with my kids and the list went on when I allowed it.

And that’s when I got it!

Prior to that moment in time I had never taken the time to realize who I really was and what fed my soul. I knew tidbits but I couldn’t recite them to you like I can right now. It is an absolute must for me to do all the things that I love to do. In doing them, I feel whole and fulfilled.

It is also a must for you to identify what feeds your soul and to start doing them. I love the teachings of Abraham channeled by Esther Hicks who said “you have to start caring about how you feel”. When you do then the choices you make will support your happiness which is ultimately what we’re all looking for.

So … who are you?

  1. Okay Mary, I'm ready!
I have felt truly lost since I stopped working. So much of who I was? am? was tied to my career identity.
I'm going to take some time tonight. And tomorrow. And the next day to journal about this question.
    Thanks for your guidance.

**I'd LOVE a reading! How can we do one?

  2. SugarMama,

I can totally relate to what you're saying. When I got pregnant with my first son I was working as an engineer for T-Mobile. I never thought that I would quit to stay home with him but I did. I struggled with who I was for a long time after that. In hindsight, that was the best thing that ever happened to me because it allowed me to step into who I truly am. I can't even relate to the engineer that I was anymore.

Sometimes when we're ready to take on something major we have to de-clutter our life first. That de-cluttering phase is very unsettling because we don't fit in anywhere during that time. Look at it this way, really soon you will be able to fill your life with whatever it is you choose to fill it with. You'll know what you want because you've given yourself the time to realize who you are.

We can absolutely do a reading anytime. Just call me at 303.478.1642 or email mary@marysalfi.com and we'll figure out a time.

This is truly an exciting time for you!
